BEGINNING at a stake in the line now or formerly of Bill Pauley's land and running up the creek 90 feet to a stake; thence running back 50 feet to a stake; thence parallel with the first line reversed a distance of 90 feet to said Bill Pauley's line; thence with the same a distance of 50 feet to the place of beginning, more or less, containing 1/4 acre, more or less. Being all the same property conveyed unto Paul Patrick Carte and Rebecca Louise Carte from Paul Patrick Carte and Rebecca Louise Carte, by deed dated September 9, 1983, of record in the Clerk's Office in Deed Book 2043, at Page 272. Paul Patrick died intestate on October 25, 1997, and in accordance with the survivorship provision contained in that Deed, title vested solely in Rebecca Lousie Carte. Rebecca Louise Carte died intestate in Kanawha County, West Virginia on December 31, 2025, and no estate records were found for Rebecca Louise Carte.
